The Tim Bates Assistance Fund (TBAF) is an annual grant made by the Victorian Tasmanian Parachute Council (VTPC) each year to recognise the competitive performances, achievements and contributions to sport parachuting by Victorian based skydivers. The grant is to provide financial assistance to a selected applicant (which may be an individual or a team) in a specified discipline at the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) National Championships of the ensuing year.
